Hi. Thanks so much for TAGS.
I want to search a phrase used in a certain city, in this case Cape Town, South Africa. Many people here don’t have their geolocations turned on, but rather input their location manually on their profiles. Is there a way to search for a phrase that’s near:”cape town”?
also, is there a way to include search variables of this location, such as “Cape Town,” “CT, South Africa,” “CT, SA” etc?
Thanks so much!
Limited search by location is possible but I think the Search API only returns geolocated data. You can do a more genetic search and post process the data from the spreadsheet. More details on what is possible with geo search here https://tags.hawksey.info/forums/topic/search-by-location-radius/
