Error message when tryingto ' Wipe Archive'

Im getting an error message when I try to ‘wipe archive sheet’.

why?

Have you renamed the Archive sheet? The wipe function only works on a sheet named ‘Archive’. If this is not it what error message do you see?

Hi,
I’m getting following error message when trying to wipe archive:
“The document cannot be modified. Perhaps it has grown too large?”
I have not renamed the Archive sheet.

The Archive sheet contains 79000 tweets, and I can’t duplicate this sheet either. When I try to do duplicate, I get message:
“This action would increase the number of cells in the workbook above the limit of 2000000 cells.”

Hi Fahra,

It sounds like you’ve reached the limits of the Google Sheet (maximum is 2 million cells). Rather than wiping you can take a fresh copy of the template from https://tags.hawksey.info/get-tags/ (connection setting are stored with your personal account so all you need to do is enter your search term).
