Twitter Mentions to GSheet

Hi Martin (et all),

Working on a pet project (a twitter bot to reply movie stuff – beta here: https://goo.gl/3TD7jb)

Struggling to get any mention of myself into a GoogleSheet. Could use TAGS or IFTTT, but thought there must be a better way

For instances, if a user mentions @BAGmovies, send API call to GoogleSheets with details, BUT I’m not familiar with Twiter’s API

Any thoughts hugely welcomed. Rewards on cinema tickets ;p

Hi Jaime – missed this one. The way the Twitter API works means it doesn’t ping you when get a message, instead you have to keep pinging the API for new results. This is how TAGS works so you could create a search for @BAGmovies and collect all the mentions
