When I try to authorize Twitter, I get the error message below. I have tried logging out of all separate accounts and have also tried an incognito window. Still won’t work though! Any suggestions?
Error Message:
Twitter Authorisation
Please be aware that if you are logged into multiple Google accounts authentication may fail. You can either log out of other Google accounts or use an incognito window.
Oops something went wrong. Twitter says: Desktop applications only support the oauth_callback value ‘oob’ /oauth/request_token
In the Twitter App settings tab what is in the callback url field?
Ah, that was the problem. Fixed it!
One other quick question for you. I’m try to extract relevant news links from tweets. Is there a way to create a new column in the “Archive” tab that only includes a URL mentioned within a tweet? And, perhaps this is a stretch, to convert the twitter formatted URL back to its original URL?
Thanks so much for all your help. This is a wonderful tool by the way!
