Hi,
I has been trying to understand what is the data that is being shared and I cannot find any privacy policy.
Could you point me to the privacy policy of this script?Thanks!
Sure – privacy policy is here https://tags.hawksey.info/privacy-policy/ (linked from the Help menu). For the script the section that is most relevant is ‘Application Users’
From this website a number of applications are distributed including TAGS, TwtrService and Twitter Archive Update to Github. These are distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. These applications sometimes require the entry of potentially personally-identifying information such as Twitter and Github usernames. This information is not accessible to us and is stored by Google and covered by their privacy policy and terms of service. Some applications use Google Analytics to monitor usage. This website and the TAGS Add-on will respect your browser setting to turn tracking off (Chrome | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Edge) if you do not want your usage monitored.
