Exclude an account

Hi,

How do I exclude a Twitter account when searching for tweets around a specific hashtag? For e.g. want to exclude a bot account which just retweets others.

most of the search operator work in your search term so to remove tweets from a named person it would look like “your_search_term -from:mhawksey” (without quotes)
